London Borough of Southwark – case study

London Borough of Southwark were one of the early adopters of outdoor gyms in the UK. They saw the massive potential to unite their community in Peckham Rye Park with a TGO outdoor gym – free at the point of use, for all the community to enjoy. The outdoor gym attracted local and national press coverage – in papers and on the TV and radio. Southwark have gone on to further TGO gyms, having seen the impact of the Peckham Rye Park gym.
