Every year Kevin McCloud’s Green Heroes celebrate the best conceptual and eco-friendly construction ideas. Kevin personally selects his top heroes for each show, from small-scale start-ups to big businesses setting a green example for the rest of the industry.
The Great Outdoor Gym Company (TGO) are proud to be selected as one of Kevin's all time favourite Green Heroes. Originally gaining the award in 2013 for TGO's green energy products.

Kevin McCloud said "In my gym I want to feel that cycling at speed going nowhere is not pointless. I want to share the eddort and the sweat in the great outdoors and feel part of a wider community. So I think I'll join an Outdoor Gym (formerly known as a bicycle but now reincarnated as a full-body workout coming to a roundabout near you). It generated wellbeing, friendships and electricity all in one".

Co-Founder and Joint Managing Director Georgie Delaney and TGO Designer Billa got to visit this years event and see the Power Smart Hand Bike display. TGO’s power smart range generates electricity from your workout converting your effort int usable watts for charging phones and even tying back to the grid.
